Ultrasound!

Woo Hooo!...
You know I cannot express in words what it is like to see your first child for the very first time.
The incredible feeling to hear for the first time the heartbeat of a brand new life.
This by far is the very best thing (next to marrying Renee) that has ever happened to me.

God is soo good in every way and His hand is forming you right now inside your momma. He has a great purpose for your life and He will be with you always, every step of the way.

Ultrasound Pics!

Dear Baby, 

I had my second ultra sound today! I actually got to see you this time! The doctor you said that you have been in me for 9 weeks tomorrow! This puts your due date to May 1st which is right in between my and your daddy's birthdays. We also got to hear your heart beat too it made mommy cry some. It was a good cry though I was happy to hear your little heart beating and to even see it pulsing on the screen. Below this are the pictures they gave us and I think you are all too cute. 

The technician also said you kept moving around a lot. I couldn't see you moving much but I took her would for it because she looks at ultrasound all the time. I can't wait to feel you in my belly and seeing you move at other ultrasounds. I'm so excited that you are there and healthy! I just kind of wish I wouldn't be getting so sick. I know its so that you grow healthy and strong so I'm ok with it. Just keep growing the way you are. I love you so much.

I had my first ultrasound yesterday! I was so excited when I got there, I was almost getting chills waiting for the technician to find you floating in my tummy. When she did, it wasn't exactly what we were expecting.
When she found you, she showed us a little circle on the screen and told us that that was the yolk sac which I knew was where you should have been but all I could see was that little circle. I got scared.The technician couldn't tell me anything on her own so she had to leave the room and call in one of the doctors. That really got me nervous! I fought back tears as daddy tried to keep me calm and reassured me that everything was ok and we didn't really know anything yet.

Finally, the doctor came back in with the technician and said that from the looks of it you have only been in there for about 5 weeks now instead of the thought 8. I was relieved that it wasn't anything serious but I was still really shook up. I put on my everything is totally fine face and headed for the door. They want me to go back in about 10 days to see if we can see anything at that point and maybe be able to tell how far I really am and when your birthday may be. Daddy and I scheduled that for the 25th of September which is 13 days away... I don't think those 13 days can go by fast enough! I really can't wait to see you and watch you develop!

I get to see you for the first time on Tuesday the 11th! Your not very big right now but i'm still very excited to see you. It was almost two weeks ago, on August 29th, that I found out that you were growing in me, and when I told Daddy he was very surprised. I don't think either of us really believed it at first.

We are both very excited that you have been added to our life. We can't thank God enough for you. I am really looking forward to feeling you develop and grow and getting updates from the doctor on how you are doing. Even though I know you are there, you're so small I can't really tell. I cant wait until I can really feel you are in there.
